If the truck/trailer combo is mismatched weight wise, it would not make a difference who's truck or trailer it is. Trailers will require surge brakes, as the 4 pin connector is not for trailers equipped with electric brakes. If you get the 10' or 15' truck, the truck is a little narrower than that car hauler.

Trailers with surge breaks typically start to slow when applying the brakes. Car is a fox body mustang. You can purchase similar trailers from other vendors however.
